Boring Boyfriends

Boring boyfriends are everywhere and they are in relationships with lively girlfriends who may be growing weary of them.  If you think that because a guy is nice looking, sounds nice, and dresses well is most likely not a dull person, think again!  When you know that you have an outgoing lifestyle, lively attitude, and enjoy talking to people, be sure to pay attention to signs that a potential partner might not be right for you long term.

So how do you know that your boring boyfriend just might not be right for you?

One.  He takes no interest in what you do.

When you mention a variety of things to do, which isn't always female related, and he still turns you down and prefers to watch TV or surf the Internet most of the time,  you have a boring boyfriend.

Two.  When he tells you things like, "All I do...I mainly do...I often do...." and then fills in the blank with something that sounds boring, most likely he is boring.

Some men just don't get it, there is more to life then working, eating and watching/playing electronic devices.  So when he is primarily using his free time to do the same ole things and rarely wants to do anything different, then face it, he is a bore.

Three.  Other people tell you, "He's boring."

Relatives and friends try to make conversation with your partner and all he ever says is the same statements over and over again, "Yeah...Wow..hmm."  Maybe he is nervous around them, but maybe he just lacks good conversation.  Whatever his reason, he is coming off as boring.  Now if he seems to be conversing with others he feels more comfortable with, like you, boredom isn't the issue, he just doesn't like your folks very much or they make him nervous.

Four.  Conversation is uninteresting.

No matter what you say, your dull boyfriend manages to bore you by being unresponsive or he talks much about nothing.  Whatever he says, you just don't feel enlightened and worse you feel like he is useless to talk to so you find someone else.  Not your issue that he lacks conversation skills, do what you have to do, talk to other people, before this guy drains all the life out of you!

Five.  Love-making is boring.

He does it the same way all the time.  No spice, no excitement, no anything.  Then when it is over, no cuddling or talking intimately to you.  He is ready to do what he likes to do re-enter his boring life of: eating, sleeping, working or watching or playing with his electronic device.  No one will blame you if you ditch him and go out with someone else who sparks your interest especially if you have communicated your thoughts to him and he ignores your requests.

There are many other signs that you might include, but these are most popular when it comes to boring boyfriends.  Keep in mind if these issues are most important to you and you can't see yourself spending the rest of your life with your mate, don't try to talk yourself into being more like him.  You will eventually start resenting him.  Meanwhile, he won't realize why you resent him so much until a major argument brings everything to light one day.  "I tried to get you to come out of your shell!  I wanted us to do other things!  I would have liked to have a real conversation with you sometime, but you are boring!  I don't know what I ever saw in you!"  This could be you, the active, outgoing, creative type, screaming one day.  Don't let it happen.  Cut your losses early if you know that the relationship is headed nowhere.
