So many people make themselves attend events with family members and friends that they rather not go to. How many times were you invited to something that you went to even though your gut told you not to? Once you arrived, you probably said to yourself, "Why did I come?" Don't do that to yourself again. If you don't feel like or want to go don't, but sometimes your feelings will trick you.
When I wrote the book,
Should I Go to the Party? by Nicholl McGuire I shared the doubts, fears, and disputes that people experience related to family invites, party attendance, and other things related to gatherings. There will be those times that you will wish you had gone and other times when you wish you would have stayed home. The key to discerning whether an invite is worth an RSVP is if you have some answers to who, what, where, when, and how. Get as much information in advance about an event and you will be better able to determine whether it will be a yawn or a laugh or two.
Check out my short-read,
Should I Go to the Party? today. It is one of those books that you won't look at the next event invite in quite the same way. Available in
