Help Other People Sell Their Work by the Things to Do Bored Blog Owner

Hello so bored again, huh? Well rather than create yet more stuff on the Internet or offline so that it ends up in the local donation center or landfill, how about help people who already have a lot of stuff out there starting with your own family members?

Recently, I sent a text out to relatives asking them to share what they have here on the Internet so that we can like, subscribe, comment, etc. You will be surprised at what other things your loved ones, friends and workers have come up with since you last checked in.

In the meantime, this is how you can help them sell and market their products if you are serious about "helping" or "supporting" them in their endeavors. A Facebook post is nice, a like is cool, but taking someone else's craft seriously and helping them succeed is priceless! Let's begin.

1. Research and Understand the Loved One's Product: Take the time to thoroughly understand the product they are selling. Learn about its features, benefits, and unique selling points. This knowledge will help you communicate effectively with potential buyers and address their questions or concerns.

2. Create a Compelling Description on Your Social Media Page or Website: Write a persuasive and engaging product description that highlights its key features and benefits. Use descriptive language to paint a picture of how the product can improve the buyer's life or solve a problem they might have.

3. Use High-Quality Visuals: Good quality images or videos of the product are crucial for attracting buyers. Ensure the visuals are clear, well-lit, and showcase the product from various angles. If possible, include images of the product being used or in different settings to give potential buyers a better idea of what they're getting.

4. Ask Them to Set a Competitive Price: Research the market value of similar products and request that they set a competitive price that reflects the item's condition, age, and other relevant factors. Consider whether they will give you a discount for selling the item on their behalf or if they have room for negotiation.

5. Utilize Online Platforms You are Already On and Find Others: Take advantage of popular online platforms like e-commerce websites, social media marketplaces, or specialized forums where potential buyers are likely to be active and mention your loved one's products and services (like mention this blog for starters--lol). Choose platforms that cater to the specific audience interested in the product they're selling.

6. Craft a Catchy Title for Their Product or Service on Your Platform: Create a concise and attention-grabbing title that accurately describes the item and its key selling points. Use keywords that potential buyers are likely to search for when looking for similar products.

7. Provide Excellent Customer Service if You Sold It to Your Circle: Be responsive and courteous when communicating with potential buyers. Answer their questions promptly and provide additional information or images as needed. Demonstrating good customer service can build trust and increase the likelihood of a successful sale and a great partnership with loved ones.

8. Highlight Positive Reviews or Testimonials and Send Them to Your Loved One: If available, include your positive reviews or testimonials and others from previous buyers or users of the product. Social proof can significantly influence purchasing decisions and help with their future marketing campaigns.

9. Be Transparent and Honest on All Platforms: Provide accurate and detailed information about the product, including any potential flaws, wear and tear, or limitations. Being transparent and honest builds trust and helps prevent issues with returns or dissatisfied customers. If you feel uncomfortable doing this, share your concerns about the product or service they are providing.

10. Be Certain They are Offering Secure Payment and Shipping Options: Sellers should provide secure payment methods that protect both you, the buyer, and your loved one, the seller. It should be clearly outlined the shipping options available and any associated costs or timeframes on their website or elsewhere.

Remember, selling other people's stuff requires trust and integrity. Ensure you have the necessary permissions and agreements in place to act on behalf of the owner/creator, and always act in their best interest throughout the selling process.

Thanks for the support to all!

Nicholl
